The members of the Northstar's Board of Directors are elected annually and hold office until their successors are elected and qualified. Northstar's officers are chosen by, and serve at the pleasure of its Board of Directors. The positions and experience of Northstar's officers, directors, and shareholders are as follows:

Larry M. Koonce
Mr. Koonce is a founder and has been a Director and the President of Northstar Energy, Inc. since its inception in 1999. Raised in West Texas with friends and family in the oil and gas industry (Grandfather was a driller / Uncle is a retired geologist for Sunoco), Mr. Koonce has accumulated many valuable contacts within the industry and his background provides a source of knowledge and resource for Northstar Energy, Inc. Since graduating from Texas Tech University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, double majoring in both Management and Marketing, Mr. Koonce has worked in the identification and acquisition of investment offerings relative to the oil and gas industry. He has been involved in the selection of numerous drilling prospects and reviewed the geological, geophysical and reservoir engineering reports for countless wells. For the three years prior to Northstar's inception, Mr. Koonce was employed with a Dallas based oil and gas exploration company as Vice President. His experience includes, but is not limited to, drilling operations supervisor, field operations management, oil and gas accounting, land/lease/equipment appraisal, well operation evaluations, investor relations, contract negotiation, and marketing programs management.
Paul M. Esposito
Mr. Esposito is a founder and has been a Director and the Chief Executive Officer of Northstar Energy, Inc. since its inception. Mr. Esposito was raised in Lampasas, Texas and has been around oil and gas all his life. He was a firefighter for six years in the United States Navy on board the USS Orion. After serving in the Persian Gulf War, Mr. Esposito was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy. He then came home and went to work in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Esposito's knowledge includes hands-on experience with many different types of work-over rigs, an intricate understanding of completion processes, contract negotiation, well log evaluation, identification of geological trends and formations, field operations, yield ratios, investor relations, and has been involved in the acquisition and evaluation of many different oil and gas programs. For the two and a half years previous to Northstar's inception, Mr. Esposito was employed with a local independent oil and gas exploration company. His responsibilities included oil and gas program evaluation, investor relations and marketing. Paul's industry knowledge and skills are invaluable to the operations of Northstar.
